Call to bookAbout Le Bistroman Atelier
Le Bistroman Atelier is a French restaurant in the Madrid of the Austrias, on Calle de la Amnistía, between the Royal Palace and the Teatro Real: a small, cosy bistro decorated in pure Provençal style, with chandeliers, painted walls and a corner called La Cuisine. It is the dream of Miguel Ángel García Marinelli and chef Stéphane del Río Brossier, who bring together their experience and their tribute to French roots in this atelier, under the motto “Gardien des traditions culinaires”. It is recommended by the Michelin Guide, earned two Repsol Suns in 2024 and holds the Metrópoli award for best foreign-cuisine restaurant and ABC’s Salsa de Chiles. The menu has the bistro classics: Normandy oysters, homemade foie gras mi-cuit, onion soup, snails in herb butter, cheese soufflé, duck magret with honey and spices, Mont Royal pigeon, Café de Paris tenderloin, steak tartare and beef Wellington, with a cellar of champagnes and French wines. There is a gastronomic menu, Découverte, and a set lunch menu, and it is open every day, including before and after the opera.
