About La Riviera

La Riviera is one of Madrid’s most legendary venues, next to the Manzanares river and a few steps from the Puente de Segovia bridge. It works as both a concert hall and a nightclub: midweek and on many weekends, Spanish and international artists of every style take the stage, and on other nights it becomes a dance floor with reggaeton, commercial and electronic parties.

It has no fixed opening hours: it opens according to its programme. Its parties usually start around 00:30 and run until 06:00, and the minimum age for them is 18. In the agenda below you’ll see its upcoming parties when they go on sale, and you can buy tickets without leaving the site.

La Riviera opened in the late 1950s and has been part of Madrid’s nightlife for more than half a century. Its huge dance floor and illuminated palm tree left their mark on several generations, and today it’s still a must-stop on tours passing through Madrid.

It’s an open-plan space of about 1,500 square metres, dominated by a large stage with a circular dance floor at its feet, which opens through large glass windows onto a spacious terrace. Between the inside and the terrace it holds about 2,500 people, spread across two rooms with nine bars, a VIP area, a cloakroom and valet parking.

To get there, the nearest metro station is Puerta del Ángel (line 6), and Príncipe Pío (lines 6, 10 and Ramal, and Cercanías commuter lines C1, C7 and C10) is a few minutes’ walk along the riverbank.
